Kang Wu spent ten thousand years trapped in Hell, where he devoured tens of thousands of demons and eventually claimed the title of Demon King. After defeating the seven Princes of Hell and absorbing their power through his Gluttony ability, he grew sick of the endless cycle of violence. Craving simple pleasures like kimchi, novels, and a life beyond blood and slaughter, he used one hundred thousand magic cores to tear open a dimensional rift back to Earth. Upon arrival, however, a defense system attacked him with lightning strikes, sealing most of his legendary strength. Waking in a forest with drastically reduced stats, he discovers Earth has changed—monsters now roam freely, experience points exist, and magic power has become real. Despite his weakened state, the former Demon King must navigate this transformed world while gradually unlocking his sealed abilities through leveling up.
